Manufactured between 1910 and 1918 by the Royal Arsenal at Erfurt for the German army. Chamber is stamped with date "1917." Toggle is stamped "Erfurt" with crown. Inspector stamps on right side of barrel and right side of frame. All matching numbers with the exception of checkered walnut grips. Nickel and aluminum bottom magazine has matching number. Inside grip strap stamped with "B. 76." unit marks, which have been crossed out. Grip straps, trigger guard and sideplate are basically brown patina. Overall 50% original military dull blue finish. Grips are excellent. Strong bore and fine action. Complete with original period brown holster marked "AWM 1 15". Drooped Wing Eagle stamped loading tool. Also comes with an addition magazine with matching number at base. Both magazines are numbered in the police style "1" and "2". Good, solid, all original World War I outfit that definitely saw use in the Great War.
