This lot consist of a plaster bust of President Lincoln. The President is depicted with a gaunt face with kind but strong eyes. However, when looking straight onto the bust, it almost appears that the President is looking down. The artist dons the President in a suit coat, vets, button down collared shirt and bow tie. The bust rests on top of a square pedestal and the artist has signed the piece on the back, "R. Thomas, Sc." The piece displays not only normal wear but many chips, nicks and areas deficient of paint along the design are present. The artist has colored the piece to resemble bronze coloring. This lot also comes with three American flags.
