This lot consists of a portrait of President William Henry Harrison. President Harrison is depicted in his military garb. His military coat has large gold shoulders and tassels with gold piping as accents on the coat. He is also wearing a white collared shirt with what appears to be a white lace ascot. This smaller but powerful portrait depicts the President with a stern and strong face almost as if he is remembering his military duties along with those of holding the office of the President of the United States. The artist has the President seated in front of an olive colored background. This painting is framed in a wooden gilt colored frame. Overall the piece is in good condition with normal wear present. The frame appears to have taken the brunt of the wear with areas deficient of coloring and wood. Please note that the portrait is painted on board and that board has warped.
