Manufactured 1912. Standard features include full round barrel, white bead front sight, sporting rear sight, Savage logo black composite Indian-head buttplate, and walnut stocks. Added period tang sight. Figure A4 barrel address stamp on page 125 in the book "Savage Model 99 Rifle" by David Royal, used from 1911 to 1919. Barrel retains approximately 98% of the factory rust blue finish. Frame retains approximately 95% of the original factory high polish royal blue finish. Lever retains approximately 60% of the original case colors. Excellent walnut stocks with no cracks at wrist with perfect wood to metal fit. Fine action and excellent, strong, rifled bore. Beautiful example of a high condition, early, high polish .22 Hi-Power Model 1899.
