Manufactured 1951. The 99EG rifle is a solid frame, pistol grip rifle introduced in 1935 and discontinued in 1960. .250-3000 was added in 1941. Checkering was added to stock in 1940. Features round barrel, sporting sights, brass cartridge counter, cocking indicator, blued finish, case colored lever, sharp checkered walnut stocks, pistol grip cap and a serrated blued steel buttplate (no logo). Wood is proud to metal with no cracks and razor sharp checkering. 99% brilliant factory blue with nearly all of the brilliant case colors on lever. Perfect action. Fine, strong, near mint bore. About as close to new as you can get in an extremely popular caliber.
