Manufactured 1910. Standard Winchester Model 1890 features full octagon barrel, 2/3 magazine, takedown, sporting front sight, 1901 patented sporting rear sight, walnut stock and rifle butt. Stock has period correct sling swivel. Barrel retains approximately 95% original bright factory blue with razor sharp edges and legends. Tube is basically turning gun metal with traces of blue. Left side of frame retains approximately 95% bright factory mirror blue, right side approximately 85-90% bright blue. 50% bright blue on top of frame. Blue-grey mix on bolt. 40% blue on base of frame. Trigger guard and lower tang gun metal grey. Walnut stock is fine, proud to metal, with a 1/4" hairline crack at bottom of stock at tang. Near mint forend. Tang is stamped "WINCHESTER" with trademark and retains 95% original blue. Traces of color on hammer. Fine action. Strong rifle bore. Far above average Model 1890.
