This lot consists of a marble bust of a hooded gentleman. The artist has rendered the bust from mostly white marble, however veins of orange, white and dark colors are visible on the clothed area of the figure. The hooded gentleman is seen looking up and to the right with a confused look on his face. His eyebrows are furrowed and it is almost as if the artist has depicted the gentleman with puckered lips. The artist has also signed the piece, it appears that the signature notes that it is by, "Prof. G. Besze." Please take note that where the white marble and the clothing marble come together on the verso are slightly separated and have been repaired. There are several other cracks present on the piece. On the base there is also a sticker. Overall the piece is in good condition with normal wear present.
