This lot consists of a plaster bust of President Harrison, as noted on the base of the bust. On the verso, the artists name is inscribed along with the date. As the inscription is slightly illegible, a note has been adhered to the piece noting this information, "William H. Harrison By S. V. Clorenger, 1837." President Harrison is depicted looking off to the left with strong facial features and a furrowed brow. The artist has chosen to depict the President void of clothing nor does it appear that he is naked. The bust sits on top of a small pedestal. President Harrison is painted to match the coloring of off white antique marble. Normal wear is present along with discoloration.
