Two-stage steel blunderbuss barrel with flared muzzle, completely adorned with engraved silver decoration inlaid on top and sides. Flintlock mechanism with flat lockplate inlaid with engraved silver designs and featuring a waterproof pan and roller frizzen. Full length walnut stock with relief carved panels, panels of checkering, and silver wire inlay on both sides of butt. Engraved steel sideplate and triggerguard, steel buttplate inlaid with engraved silver scrolls. Very good condition, barrel decoration all present with a few minor marks. Cock is missing top jaw and screw, lock retaining screws have possible been replaced, as they appear to be too long, causing lock to be loose. Stock very good with a few scattered marks from use and some minor losses around lockplate and to silver wire inlays. Overall, a very high quality example of Middle Eastern craftsmanship, not one made for the tourist market!
