An exceedingly rare counter wheel produced by Watling around the turn of the 20th Century. Only one other example of this machine is known to exist. This color wheel machine features the beautiful, original quarter sawn oak cabinet with carved bead trim and original floral filigree decals surrounding the colorful, original tin litho wheel and glue chip glass. The replated coin head, which accepts up to 5 coins at a time, features a lovely wetland scene with egrets, cattails, and tall grasses. One complete and another partial manufacturer's label are retained on the interior of the back panel. This beautiful device is rather similar to the Brownie, the main difference being the presence of an additional pay tube. Two keys are included. Showing a chip fixed on the glass.
Condition: (Excellent).
Item Dimensions: 11"D x 21"W x 28"T.
