Factory letter confirms shipment of blued .38 Super on February 8th, 1930 to Wolf & Klar in Ft. Worth, Texas in a shipment of eight guns. This is an all correct standard issue pre-war that features all checkered small parts, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered short pre-war trigger, checkered arched mainspring housing and checkered pre-war walnut grips. Slide is serial numbered to gun. Blued barrel not stamped. Correct pre-war two-tone tempered magazine with eight view holes, pin base and stamped "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO". This pistol retains approximately 85% of its original factory finish. Frame has some high edge wear but retains 95% of original blue on grip straps. Slide has high edge wear and some storage marks along edge but still retains approximately 90% blue. Razor sharp legends. Near mint bore.
