Standard issue, early, post-war blued .38 Super with all proper early post-war small parts with the exception of the checkered safety. Sports the beautiful, early "Bowling Ball" type red mottled grips. Pistol has a spot of wear on side of trigger, light takedown line, a hint of muzzle wear. The matte finish top of slide has a couple of darker spots, otherwise gun retains 98-99% original high polish factory blue. Barrel is stamped "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO" visible through ejection port. Fully blued, seven view hole, pinned base magazine stamped "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO". Comes in a proper era, misnumbered brown hinged box with gold end label in very good condition with some tape repairs to aprons. Includes a set of original instructions.
