Factory letter confirms shipment of blued .38 Super on January 8th, 1931 to George A. Lowe Co. of Ogden, Utah in a shipment of two guns. This is an all correct standard issue pre-war that features all checkered small parts, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered short pre-war trigger, checkered arched mainspring housing and checkered pre-war type walnut grips. Slide is serial numbered to gun. Blued barrel not stamped. Correct pre-war two-tone tempered magazine with eight view holes, pin base and stamped "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO". This pistol retains virtually all of the expertly restored pre-war style high polish blued finish with sharp legends. Near mint bore. Comes in a proper style reproduction box with original instructions and a copy of a .38 Auto ad.
