This is an interesting revolver in that the serial number places manufacture at 1913 but factory letter indicates a one gun shipment on December 18th, 1917 to Cullum & Boren Company in Dallas, Texas as a 7-1/2" nickel .38-40. Gun has been completely restored to nearly new condition. Matching serial number on frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Frame has two line patent with pony. Left side of barrel stamped ".38 WCF". Revolver retains virtually all of the expertly reapplied nickel finish with sharp edges and razor sharp legends. Case colored hammer, blued screws and near mint custom two piece walnut grips. Gun indexes like new. Cylinder shows no signs of having been fired since restored. Strong rifled bore with light residue ring; not bulged.
