This lot consists of a winter scene, titled "Old Trinity Winter," attributed to Guy Wiggins. Wiggins winter scenes are what he is best known for- and many of them display winter city scenes. This painting depicts Trinity Church that is on Wall Street. Wiggins has Trinity Church shown down the street with skyscrapers flanking either side. Taxi cars and pedestrians pour into the street to head to their desired destinations. Wiggins brush strokes are easily seen when looking in person at the painting. He has signed his name in the lower left corner of the painting. The piece is framed in a golden colored wooden frame. Normal wear is present. CORRECTION: Please note that the Wiggins painting is not original, it is in the style of that artist.
