This lot consists of a composition bust of President Thomas Jefferson. Even though this bust appears to be made of metal, with a metallic coating. The manner in which the artist depicted President Jefferson, he appears to be proud and standing tall. President Jefferson is depicted looking out to the future and the prospects that it holds. He is situated on top of a circular pedestal. The artist has portrayed President Jefferson in his typical wig and ponytail, which was the dominant style during the Colonial period. On the bottom of the bust, right above where the circular pedestal meets the torso on the verso, the artist's signature and date are present, "copyright 2003 Monticello." Overall this piece is in good condition with normal wear present.
