This lot consists of a bronze trophy on top of a marble base. The bronze figure present on top of the base resembles that of an early pilot. This pilot stands firm on one leg, while the other is bent. He has one hand on his hip, while his other holds the Greek Goddess Nike, the Goddess of Victory. This representation of Nike is also called Nike of Samothrace. On the base of the bronze part of the statue it notes, "Victorieux" and the artist's signature is also present here. The marble base of the statue notes, "Tourist Trophy Francais - M. C. F. - Coupe Ponsot." Overall this piece is in good condition, with normal wear present. The base appears to have taken most of the wear.
