From the Collection of Rita Ford Music Boxes. Made by the renowned maker of F. Conchon in Geneva, Switzerland circa 1880. This beautiful music box features the mandolin arrangement and possesses a rich beautiful sound. There are ten aires listed on the signed original tune label. The case is a beautiful Burl Walnut with a very unique inlay and marquetry design to the lid. This piece is a fine example of a lesser known yet very fine maker's work and is restored to museum quality. No broken teeth or tips ever repaired. The comb is in pristine condition.
