Rifled octagonal barrel signed "SPITZER" on top in block letters. Flat percussion lockplate has a rounded tail and is stamped "HENRY PARKER/WARRANTED" in center, between stamp engraved designs. Double set triggers. Figured maple full-length stock with carved cheekpiece and engraved silver Moravian eight-point star on left side. Brass furniture includes Lancaster style engraved four-piece patchbox with Adelweiss finial. Vacant silver oval wrist escutcheon. Replaced wooden ramrod. Lock and barrel retain a brown patina with some light wear and scattered marks, signature partially legible, some minor corrosion at breech. Nipple needs replaced. Brass unpolished and stock excellent with some minor staining and marks, a few small age cracks and minor chip on left side of toe. Very nice and original as found signed Pennsylvania longrifle.
