Manufactured 1930. The Winchester Model 52 pre-war target rifle was built along the military style training rifle and has a distinctive military appearance. Features a full round barrel, sporting front sight, barrel mounted scope blocks, military style long-range rear sight mounted on rear bridge, blued finish, one piece walnut stock with finger groove, magazine fed, and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Metal retains approximately 95% of the original blue finish. Barrel band is brown patina. Pistol grip walnut stock is excellent with a couple of minor dings. Fine action. Strong rifled bore. Overall, an extremely handsome, fine condition, all original pre-war Winchester Model 52 target rifle.
