Made in 1928. Offered is a beautiful high grade CHE Fox shotgun that features 26” blued barrels with hand engraving at breach, raised rib, twin beads, mirror bores, and approximately 80% original blue with some thinning at breech. The frame is beautifully engraved with scroll and nearly complete coverage. There are still case colors in the hidden areas. Balance is simply grayed out. The engraved trigger guard has traces of blue. Gold ID shield in stock is monogrammed. Features a checkered walnut English straight stock with rubber and leather pad. Sports a splinter forearm with ebony tip, engraved metal, and sharp checkering. All numbers match. Lock up is tight as new. Fine bore. Beautiful early Fox.
