This revolver was manufactured 1875 to 1889. This is an extremely early model with caliber stamped on two piece walnut grips on left panel (44). Has the early 1858 style pinched front sight. Single line barrel address is sharp. Revolver retains virtually all of the re-nickeled finish. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong rifled bore with some minor black powder abrasion. A favorite weapon of Frank James.
