Manufactured 1935. Factory letter states this revolver was shipped April 12th, 1935 to H&D Folsom Arms Company in New York City with a5" barrel, blue finish, and checkered walnut grips in a shipment of two guns; one marked "E.P.P.11" and this gun marked the same with "E.P.P. 12". These revolvers were made for the East Providence, Rhode Island Police Department. This model was introduced in 1930, a double action revolver built on the large square butt N frame with five screw and pinned barrel. Matching serial number on barrel and cylinder. 75% original factory high polish blue. All legends sharp. Sports a pair of silver medallion checkered walnut grips that are rough and right panel is numbered to another gun. Indexes perfectly. Strong clean bore. Scarce factory letter police marked gun on backstrap. Could benefit from a better pair of grips.
