Round over and under barrels, the top rifled, the bottom smoothbore, solid rib between. Wooden ramrod mounted on left side. Top barrel with adjustable ramp rear sight and front blade sight. Plain back action percussion lockplate marked "T.W. BARNES" with side-mounted double bar hammers, one for each barrel and independent of one another. Features double triggers and plain German silver patchbox and buttplate, brass triggerguard. Walnut buttstock. Very good condition, barrels retain a spotted brown patina with some freckling, especially near breeches. Lock retains a brown patina, actions work well. Furniture and stock very good with a few scattered marks from use.
