Factory letter lists this revolver as being shipped from factory January 9th, 1930 deliver to Captain L.G. DeWitt to the Wichita, Kansas Police Department with a 5" barrel, fixed sights, blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Matching numbers on cylinder and barrel. The gun sports a period nickel finish with newer stag grips. The plating was professionally done with razor sharp legends and edges. Still retains approximately 98% finish. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Strong, clean bore. This model was referred to as the .44 Hand Ejector Second Model, was introduced in 1915 and produced until 1940, and was the successor to the Triple Lock.
