This pistol as manufactured from 1909 to 1920, it was Smith & Wesson's last top break revolver model to be introduced. Features five shot, double action and blued finish. The only model to have a top strap release and side thumb release, it is also the only Smith top break to have a right sideplate and integral trigger guard. Revolver retains approximately 60% original blue finish, mainly on frame and on barrel flute. Nice case colors on hammer and trigger. Has period real Mother of Pearl grips with Smith & Wesson gold medallion. Indexes perfectly. Strong, clean bore. Pearl grips are near mint. Scarce model in very scarce barrel length.
