Manufactured 1970. This is a rare first year Commander Lightweight Model with blued finish, Colt brown composition grips. All features standard to include polished slide sides, non-glare top, polished frame sides and matte bottom. Original type "COLT" stamped 9mm magazine with eight view holes, fully blued and pinned. Two piece cardboard box with instructions and paperwork numbered to gun. Gun has seen very little use with only a hint of high edge wear at muzzle. Retains 98-99% original blue and remains in near new unfired condition. No drag line. Fine bore and action. Near mint grips. Nearly impossible to improve. Very rare gun in this caliber.
