Octagonal refled steel barrels with adjustable front sights and rear tang sights. Top flats marked "C. BAUER IN BAD=EMS" and stamped near patent hooked breeches with crown over "V" Belgian proofs and numbered "1" and "2". Breeches have inlaid silver bands with scroll engraving extending to tip of barrel tangs. Flat scroll engraved percussion lockplates and engraved steel furniture. Walnut half stocks with fluted grips and schnabel forends. Complete with vintage, but not period case with fitted red velour interior and reproduction hammer, measure, and flask. Good condition, with some edge wear and scattered marks overall. Steel surfaces retain a grey patina and stocks have a few minor repairs. Case shows some fading and staining on interior and some marks on exterior, missing latches on front. Overall, a very nice set of cased pistols, excellent for display.
