Standard brass Model 1842 Navy furniture includes round buttcap with screw in center, plain triggerguard, and barrel band. Steel swivel-type ramrod. Plain walnut half stock with flat grip. Good condition, barrel retains a heavy brown patina, and has some freckling near breech and muzzle. Lock retains a matching brown patina, markings excellent. Brass retains a nice dark patina and has some scattered marks from use. Stock good with a few minor cracks, light wear, and scattered marks from use, some minor chipping around buttcap.
