These interesting 19th century seven shot palm pistols were very popular for self-protection. The left sideplate unscrews and the cartridges are then loaded in a turret-like cylinder. Squeezing the action advanced the cylinder. The majority of these were nickel plated and this example has the Mother of Pearl panels. Removable plate is no. 12830. Inner turret is no. 7578. Gun remains in excellent condition. Mother of Pearl panels are excellent. 98% original factory nickel. Indexes and lines up perfectly. Has the original Gutta Percha palm swell. Lovely, all original condition.
