Manufactured 1873; the last year of production. All matching numbers except wedge which is not numbered. Standard features include octagon barrel, blued barrel and cylinder, case colored lever, frame and hammer; silver plated brass trigger guard and backstrap. Revolver is in excellent condition; retains approximately 25% original plating. Approximately 70% high polish Colt blue on barrel with strong legends. Cylinder retains approximately 60% of the stagecoach scene and 30% of the reapplied blued finish. All original nipples. Case colors have patterned out. Some original Nitre blue on screws. Excellent original one piece varnished walnut grips. Excellent, strong rifled bore. Indexes and locks up tight as new. Comes in a period walnut case with decorative brass escutcheon, purple velvet lining, original Colt powder flask, and Eley Bros. cap tin.
