Offered is a fine cased Adams patent six shot, double action percussion revolver with factory blue finish, wind-drift front sight, notched rear frame with one piece finely checkered varnished walnut grips. Matching serial number on cylinder and frame. Adams patent on right side of frame. Top of frame is stamped with dealer "THOS BLLSSETT WATER LANE, LONDON, 38 SOUTH CASTLE STREET LIVERPOOL". This beautiful large bore 1850's revolver retains approximately 80% of the original English high polish factory blue with overall high edge wear. No colors on loading lever. Numerous British proof marks. Lovely varnished checkered walnut grips. Strong rifled bore with some light salt and pepper. Fine action and tight lock-up. Comes in a period oak case with green velvet lining and dealer labeled. Includes cap tin, bag flask, two ebony handled turn keys, oil bottle and cleaning rod.
