Manufactured 1854. This is Third Model London Navy. Octagon barrel has "LONDON" stamp. Sides of barrel are English proofed, as is each cylinder chamber. Other London features include beveled V-shape loading notch, iron backstrap and large iron trigger guard. Cut for a shoulder stock. Round trigger guard. All matching numbers to include wedge, cylinder and lever. Traces of cylinder scene. Sharp barrel legends. Metal is basically a clean, smooth grey patina. Original grips are excellent. Indexes like a new gun. Strong, clean rifled bore. This is a very nice example of an early London Colt.
