This outstanding pistol game is one of the machines named for Admiral George Dewey, particularly the Battle of Manila during the Spanish-American War. This impressive trade stimulator features a beautiful quarter sawn oak cabinet with nickel plated cast iron elements, and is topped with the intricately and ornately cast cylinder with domed glass top. It rests atop a stand also constructed of oak with recessed paneling trimmed in egg & dart molding and with cast feet. Players would deposit a nickel into the pistol and shoot their coin into one of the four targets, potentially winning trade checks or tokens. This lot includes three of those incredibly scarce tokens; two 1st place and one 3rd place. Also provided is the original Mills Novelty key. An absolutely remarkable game, with only one other known to exist!
