A unique fortune teller manufactured by the International Mutoscope Reel Co. Inc of New York during the 1920s. The directions card instructs players to "Place pointer on question you desire; drop coin in slot then pull and hold lever down". The card shows moderate soiling and tears, though the instructions are still quite legible. The upper window on the front of the cabinet features a charming vignette of a forest path with greyed center where the answer displays. The upper marquee depicts a swami reading from a crystal ball and appears to retain the original coloring. There is a break on one of the connecting brackets of the marquee where an older repair was made. The electrical cord to this device is in a state of disrepair but the machine is working. Four keys are provided.
Condition: (Good - Very Good).
Item Dimensions: 16"D x 19"W x 63-1/2"T.
