Produced by Mauser for the German army in World War II. The code 42 was brought about to mislead the Allies on German small arms production. Features include dovetailed front and V notch rear sights, blue semi-automatic toggle action, sharp checkered wood grips, and correct style aluminum bottom magazine. All matching numbered gun except the magazine. Gun retains approximately 90% of the original factory applied blue finish. Correct German inspectors marks on the right side of the receiver. Extractor marked "GLADEN" and the thumb safety is marked "GESICHERT". Bore shows sharp lands and grooves.
