Manufactured by Krieghoff for the German Luftwaffe. 1937 chamber dated Luger. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "H/anchor/K" and correct "(eagle) 2" Waffenamts. This is an all matching numbers gun. The magazine is numbered to the gun but in Randall Gibson's book on page 168 it states that it is supposed to have a rolled blue aluminum base or extruded plated Haaenel magazine. This is a plated rolled magazine. Gun retains approximately 97% of the original factory applied blue finish; straw small parts and just a bit of high edge wear. Ritzmann brown checkered grips with sharp checkering. Great bore with sharp lands and grooves. A scarce gun. It is listed in Gibson's book by serial number on page 73. Approximately 2,500 produced.
