The G date was the code for 1935. Nazi Germany was building up its arms after the treaty of Versailles and using codes so the allies did not know they were building up their arms stockpile. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "S/42", correct early Waffenamts on right side of receiver. This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. The magazine is a correct G date magazine but numbered "717c +". Gun retains approximately 89% of the original factory applied finish with high edge wear and thinning straps. Wood checkered grips with a small chip under the safety lever. Great bore with sharp lands and grooves.
