Saber ground upswept blade. Integral aluminum handle with genuine stag square cut inserts. Correct belt buckle sheath. This knife was made for Captain Southard who was an officer at Fort Missoula where Rudy worked during the internment camps for the Japanese pre WWII. This knife was purchased in Kansas City from the Captain's nephew. It is in original condition, non cleaned or reconditioned. It has three copper pins holding the elk horn scales. The sheath has a knife cut in the leather where it slides in and out. Knife is unsigned.
