Made in Belgian in 1986 in a limited run of only 500. Blued Special Steel barrel with vented matte rib and twin white beads. Brushed nickel receiver finely engraved with foliate scrolls on both sides as well as a series of ducks on top. The right side features a scene of two gold inlaid ducks in flight, a gold inlaid portrait of John Browning and a gold banner which reads "BROWNING GOLD CLASSIC". The back of the action, in the bottom corner, is signed by engraver "M. SECCI" and on the left by "E. VOS" The left side features a gold inlaid scene of a retriever preparing to fetch a falling gold inlaid duck. Below is a gold inlaid banner "158 OF FIVE HUNDRED". Gold trigger and gold inlaid Browning logo on trigger guard bow surrounded by engraved scrolls, long tang also engraved. Highly figured round knob pistol grip butt stock with shaped, stippled, checkered, and scroll carved panels on each side of wrist, black maker's buttplate. Fluted and highly figured forearm carved en suite. Complete with factory manual special edition on the Gold Classic Series, and black two-piece factory box with limited "Limited Edition Gold Classic" sleeve. A few minor tears and marks on box sleeve. This gun is in as new condition, other than the small center bead, which is broken off. This is a rare opportunity to own a beautiful high quality limited edition A-5.
