Manufactured 1896. This beautiful rifle features half octagon to round barrel, button magazine, sporting front sight, semi-buckhorn sporting rear sight, case colored frame, lever and hammer; semi-deluxe checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and steel checkered buttplate. The barrel nose cap and bolt retain virtually all of the expertly restored rust blue finish with sharp legends and edges. Frame, hammer and lever retain approximately 98% brilliant charcoal bone case colors with some age freckling on left side. Stocks have been refinished and checkered to near new condition; razor sharp. Fine action. Strong rifled bore with light frosting. Extremely handsome as-restored Winchester 1894.
