Manufactured 1959. This deluxe Model 88 lever action rifle comes in the most popular and one of the scarcer calibers. It is a deluxe that features the finely hand checkered pistol grip walnut stock. Features full round barrel, hooded ramp front sight, folding leaf rear sight, blued finish, sling swivels, black composite buttplate and grip cap with white line spacers, and a period Leupold 4x scope with tip-off rings and an original Winchester magazine. This rifle remains in fine condition. Metal retains virtually all of its original factory blue with a hint of high edge wear. Stocks are excellent. Scope is in wonderful condition. Fine action and bore. Nice, early example of Winchester Model 88 in popular and desirable caliber.
