Manufactured 1885. If you ever wondered what it was like to walk in into the hardware store in the 1880's and walk out with a brand new Winchester 1873 deluxe at a fair, comfortable price, this is about as close as you will come. This deluxe Model 1873 features half octagon to round barrel, sporting front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, half magazine, case colored frame, hammer, lever, forend cap and buttplate; deluxe checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Winchester grip cap and rifle butt. The metal on this rifle retains virtually of the expertly restored finish. Brilliant blue with sharp edges and razor sharp lettering. High polished blue dust cover. Beautiful bone case colors. Finely checkered walnut stock. Blued screw heads. Perfect working order. Clean bore. Beautifully and masterfully done rifle.
