Barrel is stamped "RA" with Ordnance bomb and "2-43". This is a standard mid-war Remington 03-A3 with the military green parkerized finish, stamped parts, rear bridge A3 sight, stamped trigger guard and floorplate, checkered buttplate with trapdoor, two stock bolts. No finger groove or sight groove. Left side of stock is stamped with Ordnance wheel and "F. J. A." (Frank Atwood) stamp and "RA" Raritan Arsenal stamp. Block "P" in circle. 1918 dated sling. Metal retains nearly all of its original arsenal finish. Fine action. ME reading: 1. TE reading: 3. This rifle is in near mint condition and does not appear to have been issued or used to any great extent. Far above average with great bore.
