Round blued barrels with solid matte rib and twin white beads, rib marked "HEAVY DUCK", right breech marked "MADE IN JAPAN" and left side marked "WINCHESTER MODEL 23 HD - 12GA - 3"" with East Alton, Illinois import marks. Both barrels marked on bottoms "DUCK FULL/WINCHESTER STEEL". Blued boxlock actions, bottom of action marked "HEAVY DUCK". Features include: automatic ejectors, automatic safeties/thumb barrel selector, and single trigger. Figured pistol grip walnut buttstock with checkered panels on each side of wrist and maker's black rubber buttpad. Checkered figured walnut beavertail forearm with Deeley release. Complete with green canvas and leather repeating Winchester pattern case with green partition interior, complete with keys. Excellent condition showing little use. Excellent bores and tight action. Retains nearly all of original finishes with only a few light storage marks. Forearm is missing a small 3-1/2" long by 1/8" piece of the wood on the top right side. Case is excellent with some minor scuffs and staining on canvas.
