It is obvious that the cylinder and the latch have been replaced on this revolver. Front sight has also been replaced. Barrel legends are easily read. Smith & Wesson logo on right side of frame. Entire gun has a matte black finish, similar to parkerizing; very dull. Has lanyard loop in butt. Typical wide spur hammer. Excellent original grips. Indexes and locks up tight. Strong, clean bore. Should be a nice shooter. All these frames were manufactured prior to 1898 and are all considered antique.
