This spectacular example of a target rifle is built on the Stevens 44-1/2 falling block action. High polish blue half round half octagon barrel with a globe interchangeable front sight and Vernier tang peep sight. Case hardened receiver and lever with factory scroll engraving. Double set triggers. Varnished and cut checkered pistol grip walnut stock with high comb and cheek piece. Schnabel style front walnut stock with cut checkering. Swiss style buttplate. This original rifle remains in phenomenal all original condition. 98-99% original blue on barrel. Razor sharp legends and scope blocks installed. Brilliant blue on block. Lovely serrated cyanide-style case colored frame, lever and buttplate retain a majority of the original color. Stunning wood. This rifle has seen very little use and is one of the nicest examples that we have seen of this model. Sensational, high condition factory engraved Stevens target rifle.
