Marlin Ballard No. 6 Schuetzen Rifle with H.M. Pope, dated 12/21/17 round tapered barrel. Barrel markings are "510 16/0 12/21/17 H.M. Pope". Lyman globe front sight. Scope blocks on barrel. Factory engraved case hardened receiver with elk on the left side and deer on the right side. Custom plain walnut front and rear stocks. Rear stock has a perch belly, high comb, and cheek piece. Swiss style brass buttplate with traces of nickel. Engraving is still sharp. Case colored patterning can be seen underneath. Barrel retains approximately 85-90% blue, starting to blend with plum patina. Fine action and bore. Gun is in overall excellent condition with just a few handling marks.
