Embossed copper body with scene of patriotic eagle, stars surrounding shaking hands, and "U.S." in a shield surrounded by arms on both sides. Powder measure spout. Top of cap marked "J.H./1857/BATTY/SPRINGFIELD, MASS/R.H.K.W.". Very good condition; body retains a dark brown patina overall with a few light marks from use and some light wear. A few light, shallow dents near bottom.
