Two stage smooth bore steel barrel with punch-dot decorated muzzle face and brass sights mounted on top. Flat lockplate. Plain maple stock with light engraved brass furniture and nose cap. Good condition; barrel retains a grey spotted patina with some freckling. Front sight blade missing. Lock retains a dark grey patina and has been professionally reconverted. Stock has a few areas of restoration and a sliver of wood missing from above lock tang in front. Brass furniture shows some wear and scattered marks. Displays nicely and is a good example of an early 19th century Kentucky pistol.
